How do new owner's of used RV get a warranty?

Hello All,

We're going to sell our 2017 27.5RLTS. It still has warranty left until fall of this year. We thought the warranty was transferable to a new owner. After reading the forums, I'm finding out it's not. So, my question is, is there an option for a new owner of a used RV to buy a Jayco warranty if they choose to? I just want to offer this option, if it's available, if someone asks when we sell it. Thank you!

Not that I know of. To my knowledge, no manufacturers warranties are transferable to a new owner.

There are many differences in how the automotive world and the RV world operate.

Many 'components' of an RV can be serviced outside of the RV builder's warranty by most shops and even the owner using model and serial numbers and contacting the component manufacturer's directly.

There's also highly recommended aftermarket warranty programs such as www.Coach-Net.com.

There are after market warranties that can be purchased thru providers such as Coach net and Good Sam Extended Service.
