I am doing some last minute maint. items. And I am want to lube the slide, and looking for some tips or videos that might show it. Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks

All I do is spray a dry lube on the rubber gaskets all around on the large slides. None on the underside. Just wipe off grime.

On the Schwintek, I spray a shot of spray to the motors per the video and clean the teeth.

My single slide rides on two bottom rails. The rails are driven in or out by two gears operating in tandem that rotate and are geared to the bottoms of the rails.

About once a year, I lubricate and clean the rubber slide gaskets by saturating a small rag with silicone spray and wipe down the surfaces of the gaskets. This can be done fairly easily when the slide is about half way out.

About once a year, I clean the rails (when the slide is all the way out) with a rag wet with Naptha and then spray the rails with Blaster Garage Door Lubricant. This lubricant spray dries to a non-sticky slick film; here's a link to that lubricant.

I usually lube the slide gaskets while camping, the slide is out, and I just wipe them down with a wet paper towel to clean and then wipe 'em down with silicone spray on a paper towel. I may spray some white grease on the rails & gears if needed.
