How in the world does the kitchen table convert to a bed

While this seems down right silly, when we recently acquired our 2005 trailer, we forgot to how the kitchen table converts to a bed. We can see how it all comes together once the legs are removed, but for the life of me, I can't budge the two legs from the table or floor and I'm quite certain a screwdriver is not the answer.

2005 Jayco 31 BHDS

In a month we've placed 5K on the trailer and have no complaints, in fact we have been very impressed with the trailer, just didn't account for the learning curve that comes with it.

Thanks

Robert

No screw driver should be required. The legs are simply held in the bracket on the floor and the bottom side of the table with friction. If the have sat for a long time with out being taken a part they can get stiff. May want to try a little lubrication, maybe a small squirt of WD40.

Welcome to the JOF Robert! The last time we took the table off the legs was to clean easier and it was tough to get it off (only pulled it off one other time to make into a bed since purchasing new). We have two posts. We were able to get it off without the lube, but it took us tapping upwards with our palms underneath the table top around the edges. When it finally popped up, we just pulled the posts out of the floor. Hope this helps
