How long is my trailer?
We just brought home a White Hawk 23MRB. Jayco lists the length as 26 feet. So is it a 23 footer or 26 footer?
The reason I ask is because the dealer installed a Husky WDH with one-sided sway control. It was supposed to be an Equal-i-zer with 4-point sway control. Husky's web site says they recommend 2-sided sway control for trailer longer thin 24 feet. I need to know if the dealer should've installed 2-sided sway control and whether or not I should raise this issue with them.

25 feet, 11 inches from hitch to bumper (based on specs from the Jayco site), the living space, is 23 feet (or there abouts).
Husky is a good hitch, not heard anything bad about them. Equal-I-zer is as well.

Congrats on the new rig!!!
As for the hitch, you will probably be ok with the single side friction bar, but if you were suppose to get an Equal-I-Zer 4 way system, go get it!!! It is a step above the basic system side bar system....
Good luck!!!

How long is my trailer?
The dealer no longer sells it. Otherwise that's what I would've gotten. I was pretty hot when I saw the tech putting the husky on. They gave me a $75 store credit to make up for it. Problem is, we already bought everything we needed for less than half the cost at Amazon.
So, I'm going to use the credit for the second sway controller and installation.

Yeah that would be considered a 26' trailer...

They want $60 to add the second sway bar. It's a 5 minute job (mount the sway plate to the frame with 6 screws, then put the ball on the hitch), but my wife won't let me do it, so I'm stuck paying their labor. What fries me is, I negotiated the install with the deal. So this should be covered. But the dealer says they never put two sway bars on even though Husky's website recommend two sway bars for TT greater than 24 feet.
Not thrilled with this dealer, but there are only 2 dealers in Northern California.

Husky makes the "Centerline" WD hitch, I would tell them that is what you want if you can't get the Equal-I-zer. It's very similar with integrated active sway control.
My original dealer pulled a similar trick on me. The entire negotiation I stated an Equal-I-Zer hitch and they attempted to install a traditional Husky round bar. I refused to complete the purchase without the hitch I bought. I didn't get it, but they did provide the Centerline. I was skeptical at first, but now 4 1/2 years later I am very pleased with the system on both of my TT.

They have the centerline. That's what I should've done, but I was totally seeing red. The worst part is, they tried charging me $400 for a $380 hitch. And they tried to tell me that was their cost. So I looked it up on Amazon and shoved it in the sales manager's face.

Our 33RLDS has a 33 foot box and is 35.5 foot long from ball to rear bumper.

Which Centerline do you have? HD or TS?
I am from Central California too. I wonder if we bought from the same bait-and-switch dealer?

I have a basic Huskey round bar hitch with bars rated #800 to #1200. This is the same hitch I used with my 26BH, however with #500 to #800 bars. It has one friction control, which has worked quite well with both trailers.
My current trailer can get close to #1000 on the tongue and weighs about #6800 fully loaded and is about 31' total length.
Very happy with my current set up.
