How much off MSRP on a 32 BHDS?

Greetings all,

Can anyone give me an idea on how much I can reasonably expect to negotiate, percentage wise, off of a new 2012 32BHDS

Thanks so much

Get a quote from RV DIRECT, & then take it to a local dealer if you so chose( Ilike to buy local) . Based on what I 've seen 30 % seams to be the bottom. Larry

X2 on obtaining an RV Direct quote. They're quick and you will usually hear back in a couple of hours. I was surprised at the discount and this will be high on my list next time I buy.

That's what I did when I bought my 32 BHDS in 2008, and again when I replaced it (due to theft) in 2012 with a 32TSBH a month ago. I told them I didn't expect them to match it, but they needed to get close. I figured what the gas would cost to pick it up, and factored that into the equation. I told them I understood they had to cover overhead and I did prefer to buy local, but that they had 1 shot to give me their best number. The sales guy grimaced and went to see the manager. In the end they got to within about 1,500 of the RV Direct quote, less a couple of adjustments for differences in options. All in all it was about 30-33% off MSRP. Hope this helps and there aren't too many typos - I am sending this via my phone from the campground.

Try "Indiana RV Connection". You'll be pleasantly surprised with the price quote you receive from them on a unit built to your specifications. Very knowledgeable staff and excellent service. Only three miles from the factory.

Indiana RV Connection is right down the street from the Jayco factory. They are directly associated with Richardson's RV in California. FYI for West Coaster's looking to make a deal "local". We bought after presenting the RVDirect quote (as well as other online) to Richardson's and was honored the price, and ultiminately picked up the tt from Indiana Rv Connection (the transport price back in '09 actually paid for our trip to pick it up in Indiana and return to Cali for a three week opportunity that we had time to do)

I paid 23000 in Early April. 2012 BHDS with the outdoor kitchen, electric awning. I think MSRP was around 31000

We got a quote from RV Direct last year, shopped it to several dealers and were ready to buy from RVD when Thompson Family RVs in Davenport, Iowa, gave us a matching price. Since we needed to go that direction to see family back East, we bought from them. Very good experience. And it was about 30% off list. Even if a "local" had met the price for the unit, delivery would have been around $1800 if I remember right. That went a long ways towards paying for our trip.
