Depending how often we are out and where we go we wash our rig every month or so and wax every three months. Although we are now considering having a good ceramic coating done as when applied correctly seems to be the best coating but for a price.

Took all day to wash and wax just a week ago and that was two weeks after we purchased it. And yes what a job on a redhawk 29xk

If it's a trip of two weeks or less, I wash it when I get home. I try to wash the front daily to keep the bugs from staining the finish. In the southern states the love bug is really hard on paint finish. I store my RV under cover when not in use. So only wax once a year.

Several times annually, front and any area bug riddled as often as needed. John

I would love to wash mine for every trip but it requires too much time and I still work full time. I try to put it away clean and we keep ours covered in between trips. Dirts not too bad but the sun will tear it up.

Every chance I get I try & wash the front off from the multitude of bugs that collide into it. Once a year a complete wash & I did the roof once in the 2 years I have owned it. Problem is many campgrounds will not let you wash your RV. They should provide wash areas & air for your tires, even if it’s a small fee I would be glad to pay. You drive a couple of hours and you will have bug splat again.

I do like Camco's Wax. I wash and wax mine before I store it. I also do the rubber roof treatment at the same time. I also wash it as needed through the year (maybe 2 or 3 times). I find the yearly waxing keeps the finish like new on both fiberglass and aluminum trailers.

After each trip. I need to “debug” front end, then use rain-x wash with my pressure washer and brush all around.

I'm very particular about keeping my RV clean too. I've always done as many of you, wash before and after each trip, especially the front cap. But I've discovered a product called BuggBanner that covers the nose cap while I travel the highway. Fantastic, it keeps the higher portion of the nose cap clean as a whistle. Now I rarely do anything to the nose.

I'm with anal crowd, it gets washed before every trip and after each trip to remove bugs and road grime. If we're on a trip and there's a lot of bugs I'll just use a bucket of water and the washing brush to get them off. I don't wax. We paid for the Dealer installed protective coating, seems to be doing its job.

The front, everyday, if we've been moving (usually Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Fri. We're parked every weekend), after we park it and set up. Gotta get the damn bugs off. Usually wash the whole rig twice a year unless we've been parked in a dusty location, or excessive pine needles, etc. Wax the front every other month. Then out comes the grill, time for supper.

I wash mine after every trip. Get the road grime off and more so the ash flying around from everyone campfire. I use Meguiar's wash and wax. Roof gets washed every time and washed a couple times a year with the roof treatment. It gets waxed twice a year which is about a 14hr job. I use Wizards Shine Master on the entire coach and about every 2nd to 3rd wash I hit the front cap with Wizards Mist and Shine. The bugs don't stand a chance of sticking, staining and they pretty much fall right off when I wash it.

We bought our 5th Wheel in February. I washed mine after the big pollen blow out was done. Now I just rinse it every couple of weeks to remove dust, bird crap, and dust.
