How to reduce water hitting front of TT while towing

Recently I found (and replaced) water logged flooring in the forward area of our 5 year old TT.

What are your ideas on how to reduce the amount of water hitting the forward, under area, of the TT that occurs while driving in wet weather?

I am considering adding mud flaps to our truck which may reduce water reaching the TT.

What Type of TT do you have and is it a Hybrid by any chance.

If its wood, I would use either polyurethane or truck bed liner product.

After I posted I saw it in your sig. The first thing I would do is check every inch of caulk that runs horizontal just below the white fiberglass front. Then follow it around each side and also the hatch door. Check the hole underneath the TT where the battery enters the TT. The front window frame could be another spot and check the caulk around those screw heads.

Don't forget to check the lights too.

Usually, water gets in from old weather sealants. That would be my first attack, mud flaps is just a small piece, of the puzzle. There are a few hitch mounted ones that go althea way across the bumper line. Someone recently posted a nice homemade one that looked easy to make, store, and use.
