hub miles

I saw a hub odometer similar to those used on semi trailers to keek track of trailer miles for sale for about 90.00 dollars called rv hub o meter.
It would be convient to see how many miles the trailer actually travels per year . Just wondered if anyone uses one and if the install is fairly simple, do they supply a complete hub or is the mount universal?

I wondered about, too. I keep a note pad with the destination, date, and mileage and keep track of trailer miles that way.

if you have a newer ford tow vehicle it keeps track of it for you you can set up multiple trailers. You can read accumulated miles through the dash. I suspect other manufacturers may be the same

I saw on Chevy website that on 2020 and newer Silverado 1500s you can get extra TPMS valve stems for the trailer and the truck will track them too. I'm guessing 2500s and 3500s will do that too. I have not seen that they will track mileage. Anyone know if they can do it too?

I haven't used one personally. But, an old Airstream buddy of mine had a hub meter. I just use a spreadsheet and log my starting and ending mileage for the trailer.

As mentioned above, my F150 tracks the miles. I've pulled this current trailer 5700 miles with just this truck alone, not counting all the miles accumulated behind my Ram.
