Hughs Auto transformer-progressive surge protector

Hello all,
I have the
1. Hughes 30 amp Auto transformer and the

2. Progressive industries EMS-PT30C.

Both units are plug in / portable.

In which order do I hook them up.
30 amp campground power, then
the Hughes Autotransformer,then
the progressive surge protector.
Or
30 amp campground
Progressive surge protector,
Hughes Autotransformer.
Thank You.

I would say the autotransformer goes first then the EMS unit. If you put the EMS unit first it will cut off the power when the voltage goes low before the autotransformer has a chance to do its job.

Great Point.
I hooked everthing up in that order, and found the ems was getting warm. I thought I did something wrong.

X2

Pedestal->Autoformer->EMS->RV

EMS being warm is normal.
