Humminbird Rb is Hurt

One Soft spot on the floor turns into a nightmare! Gutting the whole inside and replacing everything in the bathroom, shower, sink, toilet, all the trim, dinette set, new floors top and bottom ,weld supports,Pull slide out, WHAT! 30 hours of labor, 3 weeks to fix. When ever the parts come in. That's not including the entrance door # 3 coming. This bill going to cost Jayco over 7,000 bucks! Be cheaper to give me a new one. Used it 3 times since June 2017. 3 months stay in Florida. Wife is just sick over this. This should be one strong hand built Bird on the road dealer said. We do love this TT

What happened to cause all of that?

Sub Floor was never attached or center on trailer frame going width wide near the refrigerator. My head is spinning to understand why so much work for one small area. Talked with a Jayco Tech last week to see if he can come up with a better solution. I guess he didn't. The bathroom is my issue, Not a dang thing wrong there. Because the flooring is one piece it needs to come out, Jayco told the dealer to replace everything in the bath.

Yep! That's what the dealer said, not shortcuts, No quality control, Pump then out has fast as you can, Then they have to deal with it. To trade it in? Nope, Did everything we ask for while in Florida for 3 months. And I don't think it's a problem with Hummingbird models. Just ours. Good thing about our dealer they build utility trailers beside selling Rv's

Wow....I'd say that's a substantial miss. Sounds like somebody took break time and forgot where they left off with the screw gun.....

What's up with three entrance doors? Were the first two leaking or something?

Once they're done, you should have a nice solid new "Bird"!
Sorry you have to go through all that though.

Update on my entrance door #3, Came in solid gray color like the last one, My dealer don't understand why? Soooo I called Lippert, they told me the dealer has to call Jayco and order the strip kit and paint code from them! Sooo I call Jayco parts Dept. Yep have the dealer give us a call. Told him my dealer said they don't have a paint booth to do the white! Tell them to take it to a body shop! Here we go again. Dealing with this door issue since May. Not sure if legal action would help

I'm thinking that when they're finished you'll have a better trailer than anything that coms off the assembly line. Think of it as the cloud's silver lining!

Well, called my dealer today " Boyer RV" to fine out the status on my entrance door and if they order the parts for the floor, Door #3 is in! But, decals won't be here for another 3 weeks. Ask if they painted the white portion? No have to call Jayco to approve warranty work! WHAT! They all ready did, Oh Ya, ZERO has been done about the floor, as to order the parts. 4 months later Hummingbird is the same as day one.

A little update on or TT, " nothing" This issue with our Hummingbird is a joke. Dealer blames Jayco, Jayco blames the dealer. Door #3 been in for a month. Dealer thinks the bottom part of the door is a decal,Not painted white,Still waiting for a call. All the material for the floor is in. Maybe? We talk to a supervisor from Jayco 2 weeks ago and he totally agrees that we been patient long enough "since May" and that he is taking over this case and will be calling Boyer RV for answers. I'll call you on Friday by 10. Thats been 2 weeks ago.

More update! Hummingbird should be done in a couple weeks! Fingers cross! It only took 6 months to get this far. Been a total nightmare with the dealer and Jayco. We lost all summer to use it! Next step is to get compensated! I would like Jayco to extend the warranty for another year. It's been at the dealer since August, Will see! Rep. hasn't return are phone call over a week! Found out the floor was missing some supports
