Trouble is we probably won't get out until April...hopefully in our new rig which isn't ordered yet.

All of us are not retired yet...just me.

We took the grand kids out yesterday for an outing at Brazos Bend State Park in Texas and the campgrounds were pretty much full with trailers, tents, and motorhomes. Neither DW nor I have ever seen so many Casitas before! There must have been at least 30 or more.

The temp here was in the mid 60s yesterday and today, it's supposed to hit 70.

.
..and when the Casita club has a rally, they usually do take up the park. We once joined a Casita rally at (of all places) Lake Casitas in California. There was something like 25 Casita's. Does look kinda kewl to look around and see many of the same make of rv. The Casita forums are pretty active (two actually). Somewhere in the continental US, someone is planning a rally, usually regional. Here at JOF we also have a forum for those that would like to initiate interest in a rally. You folks in Texas are many... I bet that would be a great place to have a Spring or Summer Rally....

We're hoping to pack up the tt sometime in January to camp for a couple of weeks. It'll be cold, but we miss taking off

We just got back from taking the kids and grand kids to Foley AL. http://www.anchorsaweighrv.com/. We are getting ready to put the camper up for the winter. Expecting to get it out late February / Early March. It's good to live in the hot humid south.

Yeah, but it's typical for Wisconsin. When the temp gets to about 30 it feels soooo warm. People say there are only two seasons in Wisconsin, winter and road construction:hihi:.

We've always enjoyed our visits to Michigan too, especially the UP.

I can't wait to get back in there and put life in her. So many Christmas presents the DW said this will be great for camping. Last year was our rookie year of camping, and we LOVE IT!!! So in conclusion, Christmas, and New Years are fun, but hurry spring! Hurry fast! I just can't wait much longer!
I agree. After Christmas, New Year's and the Superbowl, nothing left of winter but to wait for spring and camping!

I'm sitting in Gulf Shores AL. Just turned dark. High today 74, currently 70 and we have our door open and windows up. Slept with windows open last night, plan to do same tonight. Alergies been bothering me here. Spring just around corner.

By the way - GO ELI win another one! National Anthem coming up.
