I know this sounds strange but..

Just wondering..

Has anyone ever had problems with birds attacking your camper windows? I know, it sounds strange but we've had birds attack our tinted camper windows like crazy this year! Three seperate campgrounds. Not close to nests or anything. The last trip, I had a major problem with a bird ramming the rear window...ALL DAY LONG..EVERYDAY! What gives???

Reflection... Your tinted windows are reflecting the birds image just like a mirror and since most birds are territorial they are trying to fight off the intruder..

I have though had that happen a couple of times with my TV mirrors while camping.

We had the same thing happen this spring with a Cardinal who would perch on our deck rail, and would fly into the rear window over and over for hours on end.

I've had some success stopping suicidal bird attacks by taping a piece of newspaper over the spot they are attacking.

You need to get one of those big fake owls and set it out on the back bumper...

To be honest, I had fun scarin' the crap out of them! Popping up at the window at just the correct time!

Doesn't take alot to keep me amused.
