Idiots

Why is it when you’re the only one in a parking lot some a-hole always has to park right next to you.

It pisses me off especially when you are hooked up to the camper and they park right in front of or behind you.

In this case it looks like you were both looking for a shady spot to park...

Depending on sun and temp, shade is king. Looks like there were other choices though.

Looks like a great spot to park on a hot sunny day and if my dog was in the car and I needed to run in I would have parked there also. Why did you choose that spot?

Idiots looking for the same thing as you, a shady spot to park. Mighty arrogant statement unless you have a receipt from where you paid for the shady spots.

Was it intentional that you used the word's plural form for the thread title?

X-2 Don't know where you are, but maybe an employee who parks there every day for the shade as Tunce said.

Showed the pic to DW and said “he was courteous enough to park far enough away so the truck wont be dented When he opens his door and look “ no mask on their rear view mirror “ they were thoughtful enough to bring it in”.

Did you ever consider that you might have parked in HIS parking space?

You're assuming the truck was there first.

I’m assuming there was only “ one Idiot “ but he did say Idiots.

I gotta say, I’ve experienced the same with no shade involved and well away from the store entrance. I’d rather walk farther and not have careless people denting my doors. When they still park next to me, they are idiots. In our town, there are those who would’ve parked diagonally across both shady spaces here, hogging them both. So, it could’ve been worse .

I thought that I posted here but my memory is sometime sketchy.

If that were here, where it is now 106 at 10:32AM, There would be more cars jammed into that small space and those out in the middle of the lot, in the sun, are not from Phoenix, or this is their first summer here.

Well.....years ago I had a '58 Ford pickup, primer grey with a few assorted dents here and there. Used it just to tow our boat 2 miles to the river.

Since I must have a sick sense of humor, or maybe I was an idiot, whenever we went out to dinner or shopping I would look for the proverbial new car parked way in the back all by itself and..you guessed it..parked next to it.

Another quick story. We went out to dinner in our current TV. When we came out there was a brand new Mercedes parked in a Red Zone, right behind our truck. Took me awhile to back out and I was a bit ticked off. Found a piece of paper and wrote him a note: "Sorry I backed into your new car, hope it isn't too damaged. I am writing this note because people saw it happen and are watching me. Next time don't park in the Red Zone!"

Stuck it on his window and laughed all the way home.

I know several people who do that just to aggravate new car owners, so you're not alone.

It’s pretty far away. Can’t tell if it’s a Sentra or Versa, but neither has doors long enough to hit you.

What drives me nuts, is when I am pulling a trailer, and I am in a big parking lot way out there, or in a gas station getting gas, and someone pulls up and blocks me, and there was no reason for it. Gas stations are the worse, as they "just stopped" in the isle to run in and get cigarettes I assume. Now I always make sure I angle my self to have a way out, even if it annoys someone at a gas station. Hate it when I get blocked in for no reason at all.

As for parking, I ALWAYS get a spot at right at the door. (been told I need to start playing the loto), but if it is hot, or will be away for a long time, I'm aiming for a shady spot.

First thing, even though it is in the shade if people left to go shopping and left a dog in the car and somebody called the police they would break into the car and the owner would get fined here in Az. Second thing is unless somebody has paid for that parking spot then it is open for anybody to park there. That is like the pot calling the kettle black.

That’s what I like about this forum, everyone’s an expert. I was there well before him. He got out and laughed at me as he went into 7-11 to get coffee and left. I guess most of you would do just as he did. Now I am OUT.
