If you're referring to The RV Connection, I almost got mine from there, until my local dealer decided to come very close to their price.

The sales lady I spoke with was very nice, not at all pushy, and offered good advice about staying in a CG that is right down the street. Apparently they have quite a few out-of-staters buy from them.

We ordered our 321RSTS through them in April. They called and said TT was ready to pick up July 8th and we picked it up in Middlebury IN with no real problems.

We originally ordered a 2016 model but our sales person (Jessica Macias in CA) called back in a week or so and said we could change the order to a 2017 model for the same price. The final purchase price on mine was 34% off MSRP. We treated the trip as a cheap vacation and we would do it again in a heart beat!

Your order will be placed thru Richardson RV Sales in California. They are the Jayco dealer not RV Connection

...This is correct. "thervexpress.com is Richardson's RV "online" connection. I paid "Indiana RV Connection" and Richardson's RV transferred ownership to me.

I'm not saying you guys aren't correct about Richardson RV, but Jayco does list Indiana RV Conncection in Middlebury Indiana as a dealer on their website. Even lists them as a Jayco exclusive dealer. I was asking about the dealer here because they don't get very good reviews any where else. It did look like most complaints were from people that bought junk used campers, not new Jayco's. Thanks for the info.

Yes, I ordered mine through Indiana RV Connection and picked up at Richardson's in CA. All paperwork and payment was done at Richardson's. They gave me the price I was looking for which was $800 less than Richardson's but I still technically purchased from Richardson's. Two different dealerships but owned by same people.

From what I saw at Indiana RV Connection in Middlebury Indiana, it looked like service bays were filled with brand new Jaycos' being prepped for delivery. They did not have parts for sale to the public, just parts to prep the new RVs. They have three RV sites that people can stay the first night to check out their new RV. They are a Jayco dealer but I think the bulk of their business is internet related with Richardson's RV, who owns "thervexpress.com" site. Sort of an East Coast connection for Richardson's RV. Just my opinion, but it worked for me.

I would disagree with last statement. Richardson's is the largest West Coast Jayco dealership from what I understand.

I was the first CA pickup sale the Indiana salesman had done and the first one ordering from Indiana that the lady at Richardson's in CA had written up as well.

That is interesting what you say. Did you order from the "thervexpress.com" site or direct from Indiana RV Connection? I ordered from "thervexpress.com". The woman I spoke with was in the Richardson's RV office. Never spoke to a Indiana salesperson.

Yes, Richardson's is one of the largest west coast Jayco dealers.

Ordered directly from Indiana RV. Picked up from Richardson's in Riverside. This was last April.

Bought our X213 from RV Connection when we lived in Northwest Indiana and all went well with the sale and delivery. The year after I bought the X213 took it back to RV Connection for some minor warranty work. Took almost a month to get the to the appointment. Then when I showed up on time for the appointment, I was told I would have to leave the trailer and pick it up the following week because they were busy prepping new campers. After some discussion about where I would buy my next camper, they did get the work done and I was able top pick it up 2 days later. I was not impressed with the service.

We live in San Diego and worked through Richardson's here. Bought it on-line from thervexpress.com at about 35% discount. Then we drove new truck to Indiana to pick up Pinnacle and the $4000 delivery charge we didn't have to pay, almost paid for our entire 6 week trip to Indiana and other places.

Yes, I bought a pre-owned 2015 Pinnacle 38FLSA, July 22, 2016. Haven't received my title, or registration yet!

I live in SC where we only pay $300.00 sales Tax, then pay property tax each year. I tried several times to tell them not to add taxes to my sale, but they "know what we're doing". Well, I now have a $50k 5th wheel that I can't use, because the temporary tag is dead. They kept sending the taxes to the local DMV, who kept refusing the package, because they don't want the $1500.00 they keep sending.

Good pricing, overall friendly staff, but this is frustrating. Make sure all is right before you leave. We are from SC and were going cross country at the time.

Good luck.

I too ordered our Octane T32C Toy Hauler through Jessica Macias of RV Connection in Menifee, CA in April and also got a 2017 model at the same 2016 price. The DW and I then drove to Middlebury, IN ie: Indiana RV Connection for PDI and pick-up. Our PDI technician's name was Ben and all went very smooth. We took delivery of the unit about 7 miles North in Michigan due to sales tax reciprocity laws and on the way to the delivery point the TV antenna blew off so the driver turned around and went back to the shop, stole an antenna off another new unit, installed it and off we went. We since had a few minor issues but not terrible. We spent a week or so with family in the Detroit area and then drove back to Southern California. I had purchased 17.5" wheels and Sailun tires and ended up having to replace the factory 1/2" studded drums with 5/8" studded drums and (2) of the four factory hubs had grease contamination throughout the inside of the drums and brake shoes were soaked. One drum actually had overheated to a point where the black paint turned completely white and flaky due to the extreme heat. The shop that performed the drum upgrade specified that there was only a bit of grease in front and the back of the drum which incorporates the bearings and races and no grease in the center area. I watched this shop perform their drum greasing regiment and what they do is place the new drum over a bench mounted hub followed by greasing each drum via air assisted grease unit and when they removed the new drum from the bench, you can see how well the grease was thoroughly encasing the internals. They specified if the seals stay intact, one would never have to worry about dry drums. The bottom line here is that I would suggest that any and all who purchase a new trailer should have the wheels pulled, replace the seals and professionally re-grease all four units. I don't think this is a Jayco issue however, I do think this is a Dexter axle issue because these units are blown through the assembly line and the greasing done may not be adequate for the long haul. I think such a lack of quality control could lead to a dangerous safety issue or a totally avoidable inconvenience factor of an on the road breakdown.

BTW, I just today dropped our TH off at Richardson's RV in Riverside,CA for those few minor warranty issues. It took a few weeks to get the appointment date for this warranty service and I was told they were about 7 days out until the unit would most likely be complete. I take that to mean 3 weeks or more which is fine by me. ;-)

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Did Jayco take care of the original brake issue?
How does Richardson's RV strike you as a dealership?

I have talked about Richardson's on here before but wanted to chime in that we have been very happy with them. Couple of warranty items have both been handled expeditiously and hassle free.

Since I had to upgrade the drums anyway, I figured why even sweat the small stuff even though I would have preferred to maybe listing what should have been nearly new drums for sale on Craig's List but hey, it is what it is so I just let the shop that performed the upgrade keep them for scrap.

My main reason for telling the story was to inform others of the potential lack of QC in hopes of preventing a possible disaster from either a safety or pocket book scenario.

First time to Richardson's so I can't provide any input of service as of yet.
