Individual wheel weights

I have a Jayco Pinnacle with dual axles. I've taken it thru CAT scales both empty and fully loaded for an extended trip. However, I would still like to get an accurate weight load for each of the individual tires. I've asked numerous people where I can go in the St. Louis, MO area to get this done but have not had any luck. I've been told there are companies who do this at RV rallies, but I can't find anyone locally. Any suggestions?

You might call the State Highway department and see if they offer that service.
Have you tried any grain elevators to see if they would do it?
Or for $1,000 you could start a business weighing RV’s.

Either way, welcome to the Forum! Kevin from Troy.

The question is why? But, if you have to know, the only way is to place the rig on separate weigh pads for each wheel. Those weigh pads are expensive. If you know your MT weight (on the sticker) and you weigh the rig at the CAT Scale that's all you need.
Its not like an aircraft for weight and balance. But, that is the answer.
As an example: If you have a rig that weighs 12K MT, you will need wheel pads that can measure a bare minimum of 4000lbs per wheel (4 wheels - 16K lbs. Shop them and you will run! I have electronic scales for small aircraft that weigh up to 5000 lbs (1200 lbs a wheel) of course you only use three pads - 3 wheels. Expensive enough. You could buy just one scale and measure each wheel and get an idea and should be close enough. Cost wise around $1500 -$1700 for a single scale to handle the weight but would not be accurate because the of the other wheels resting on the ground but close enough for a good cigar.

Check the Escapees website. They weigh 4 corners and vehicles, too.Besides some rallies, they have 3 locations, Arizona, Texas and Florida. Maybe it's time for a road trip!

I take mine through the DOT truck scales here in Ontario and put one wheel on at a time. They leave the scales powered up after hours.

Dot is always sitting on top of antire hill at i44 with scales waiting for trucks leaving the quarry. Maybe you could chat them up, offer a donation to backstoppers?Exit 269.
