2020 Eagle 319 MLOK here. We have been out an average of 5 days per month
since delivery Dec 26th of 2020. Only issue we had was the pendant lights went bonkers but I fixed that with BmPro C/S. The ground wire had disconnected from the bus...easy fix. Everything has been great until this last trip. Floor started squeaking as you walk into trailer. The EZ Breeze bathroom fan took a dump and my curbside slide is sticking. Shes at the dealers now getting fixed. We were in the desert this last trip and the dry air may be a contributor to the squeaky floor. I could live with the floor but the vent fan and slide not so much. Still feel the quality is good overall. The slideout mechanism is Schwintek and the fan is made by Dometic.

2016 Starcraft bought new, stabilizer jacks were rusted, broke one the first trip. Replaced all 4 and made the dealer reimburse me. Was not about to take it in and have it tied up for months.

Not impressed with Jayco's quality.
during PDI
1 Entry door fit was horrible, hard to open and close, yet flaps like a bird going
down the road
2 all baggage doors out of adjustment, they flap as bad as the entry door
3 driver and passenger steps into cab loose and rattle going down the road
4 stabilizer jacks wont stay up
5 paint has swirl marks (dealer states it because the paint is black)
6 flooring inside is coming unglued in the whole coach, sounds like you are
walking thru sticky crap on the floor
7 Cab over blind ripped and coming out of the frame work
8 sound stream stereo wont shut off 95% of the time
9 fridge door lock screws were stripped, that broke on the way home from
dealer
10 shower door wasn't in tracks, wouldn't stay in tracks once fixed
11 water connections leaked, not even hand tight
12 kitchen faucet not tight in counter top
13 adhesive from mirror in bathroom cabinet leaked out and door was glued
shut
14 Bedroom was is literally coming apart, staples are working their way out
and wall is separating
15 trim above door, starts at one cabinet runs across over the door, but stops
4 inches from the other cabinet. hey but at least they put a decorative
end on it
Jayco doesn't get all the blame for this, dealer did not want to fix it, until they could do it under warranty? so now its my problem to get it fixed and have it sit at the dealer. oh they had it for a month, fixed 2 things; shower door and glued the cover back down on the lighting panel. Jayco supposedly never sent them the parts for the other repairs

"Man-traps" - Protruding screws or sharp edges waiting to dig into an arm.
Squeaky slides, 'popping' floors, rubbing vent fan and lack of any sort of wiring diagram are minor nuisances. The burned through hole in the empty generator compartment sheet metal from an unrestrained and un-insulated hot battery cable, and faulty propane valve were more serious threats.
The auto-level/landing gear failure was a serious source of frustration and a furnace that has NEVER worked and has kept the camper un-available for my use nearly half the year I've owned it.
This is my first camper since the 1980's but looking around here and the internet, it seems that this total lack of any quality control may be RV industry standard, at least within the Thor product lines.

2020 Precept 29V: a) Norcold fridge did not work from day one. b) Retractable steps only go up halfway after owning for one month. c) Prop rod for King bed is a joke, will not hold the weight and bent immediately. I installed gas lift shocks on both sides, now it's a breeze to open and stay open, even with full bedding. IMO this should be a standard part of the coach. d) Engine compartment under insulated (if any), which makes the cockpit noisy and the console hot.
These were the annoyances I've noticed. Waiting for parts to repair the fridge (cooling unit) and the steps. Purchased October 2019 and can't take it for any significant trips until repairs are made. Hoping the parts come in quickly and this gets resolved.
Otherwise, it's a nice rig for a little over $100K.

This really is a big to do about nothing. Polls on RV quality are a dime dozen and prove nothing. The industry has issues, has always had issues, and nothing has changed in the last 10-20 years. So these polls and the related complaints on all of the various RV Web sights do nothing to improve the problem. It probably makes a few owners feel better but that is about it. I have owned four different RVs and the complaints have been the same with each.

There are a number of very good books out about RV quality. If you search Randall Eaton and purchase his books before buying an RV you get an idea of what you are getting in to. If you don't do your research, you end up putting polls on some Web site because you failed to do your due diligence and are now dissatisfied.

2021 Jayco 33RBTS

I've owned a Flagstaff since 2010 which was used at purchase.

This is our first new camper.

Things that we noticed the weekend after we brought it home:
- There is a screw sticking up from under the Vinyl floor.
- There was a poorly repaired nick in the Vinyl floor by the kitchen island.
- When the slide out in the bunk room is in there's a 2--3" gap at the top.
- The gas hose for the outside kitchen is missing.
- The air flow from the furnace is high in the bunk house and low coming out the remainder of the vents in the kitchen, bath and front bedroom. The bunk house vent doesn't have a dampner.
- Some of the trim around the slide is coming off.
- There's caulk all over the outside steel.
- The gas hose lines are hanging low on the underside. Our Flagstaff had steel pipe running along the bottom so I'm sure if this is normal?
- I think Jayco is a good manufacturer however I think the extreme backlog of orders has made their QC department disappear and they don't care. Sloppy IMO.

Our 2021 Eagle HT 30.5CKTS had wires laying on the floor when the wardrobe slide was extended. Repaired myself.

Water soaked bed in front bedroom, dealer said front AC bracket was loose and seal was twisted.

Using new RV for the 1st time this weekend. Hopefully, that is it for issues.

All about expectations

2021 Precept 34g - I guess my expectations were low and they met them. List of issues found or broke within first 4 months:

1. Toilet relaced - chipped
2. Showerpan replace - cracked
3. Door Replaced - dent4d due to being trapped inside
4. Radio replaced due to circuits cooked by heat
5. headlights realigned
6. All tv cables not hooked up in waterbay or at booster
7. Passenger shade replaced - broke
8.Valance over dinette fell off
9. House batteries not hooked up
10.Overhead bunk channels came off wall. Became emergency fix due to falling hazard. Happened on drive home from pickup.

these are out jtop ten biggies. Lots of little ones too.

2021 Jay Flight 287BHS. So far only minor things. Popped a piece of trim next to the front door on our first trip. Added a few nails. Bath screen door was catching on the plastic striker. Took the edge off of it with a flat file. One cabinet door catch was screwed on to close to the edge of the stile which has bubbled it and split the stile some. I adjusted the placement of the catch so it doesn't blow out. This one bugs me the most. I'm in manufactured housing construction particularly cabinets now so it bothers me the most to see this lack of QC on something so simple to make right. I gave an 8 rating today for my initial quality. This score was also based off of many other manufacturers we were considering that I can't honestly believe they are ok selling a product made that crappy.

2020 Precept 31UL
Less than 11K so far.
Bought it used, a couple months old with about 6K on it.
Saved a little bit of cash and sacrificed JAYCO's warranty ?

Long HDMI cord from Blu-Ray player to living room TV is dead, always was ?
I use a short HDMI cord I leave hanging from the TV, works great.

The bunk over the cockpit has stopped working a couple weeks back.
The operating lights blink on when you hit the raise or lower but the bunk does not move ?
No idea what that is about yet.

Overall I would rate the unit pretty good.
I only wish it had the 6.7 diesel in it.
Finding a gas station set up to accommodate a 33 foot rig towing an SUV can be problematic.
Diesel rigs seem to have it better ?

Look here for troubleshooting the bed, LINKY.

I'm not entirely sure it's better for the diesel TVs. I think the pumps for the big rigs are all commercial use. I have same problem with 34' TT and 12 passenger van. I try to look ahead in a mapping program to pick out the stations that do accommodate the big rigs. Most times I've had decent luck pulling into an outside lane and getting fueled up. Can be a little tight, but have managed.

You’re 100% right….someone should just post the email addresses of Thor’s CEO and all of its executives so the complaints get forwarded directly to them. You can do all the due diligence you want but until the rubber hits the road…it’s then you find the troubles most times!

I would rate ours an 7. Left front brake was very touchy, it would lock at VERY low settings on the brake controller (lippert). AC duct tape job was a joke! Outside kitchen "burner"is junk, made the area into a drawer lol.Bathroom floor squeaked louder than stepping on a cats tail! Wardroom bulb seal slid down and got chewed up in the gear and lastly the outside electrical cover would be MIA on every trip so I rigged the new one shut with a screw to keep it on the coach. All fixed fairly quickly by the local dealer (Bish's) here in Meridian Idaho
