Interior Wall Seperating

I have an interior wall panel that is pulling away from the stud. It looks like the assembler ran out of staples about half way down the wall. The dark vertical line in the photo is the bulge in the wall paper where the panel is not fastened. The wall is bulging out about 1/8".

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this without removing the wall paper or nailing through it?

Thanks in advance!

I have no experience with this issue, but my guess would be to try and remove the strip that covers the seam. Re-staple the wall and we-apply the seam tape. You may need double-sided tape to re-apply it.
