Inverter Issue

I tried resetting the inverter because it was peeping and had an E05 error. It is still beeping and suggestions? It is a Jayco Class C Greyhawk.
Should I worry if it does not stop and I need to shut it off?

If you are on shore power you do not need to use your inverter so turn it off.

Inverter

The inverter should be necessary when you need 120v ac from 12vdc batteries. These Xantrx inverters are not the cream of the crop I'm learning. If you have solar, try turning off the Battery charger, this usually solves E02 fault. Seems like there can only be 1 source charging the batteries at a time. You think xantrex/jayco engineers would have thought this thru before installing and selling to public. Without experience , it's not exactly user friendly. It can be done though.

The inverter is off because it is not working. I do not have solar.
I will need to have someone look at it at some point...I just hope it has not shorted something out when it stopped working..

Inverter

I apologize Colleen, your original message said it was beeping and had E05, here is what I found. I hope it helps. E05 = low battery . You should have "coach" batteries underneath your steps. Check that battery cables are tight on posts. If so, coach batteries can be charged by running your engine. When plugged into shore power there should be a converter charger that charges coach batteries(this may be faulty or turned off)This should help clear error codes. If it does clear and you're on shore power, shut inverter Off. Inverter should not be used when on shore power. Where are you camping?
