I got mine from Harbor Freight. Very reasonable and it has worked flawlessly for many years.

I've used the Raytek MiniTemp MT4 for over 10 years for all applications. Still working fine.

X3 on Ames from Harbor Freight. They’ll frequently have a coupon for about $19. Has worked well.

We use the HF one in out Makerspace to constantly check the temperatures on our 3D printers and our Heat Press for making T-shirts. Works great.

Milwaukee makes one that uses the 12v batteries. Same as the m12 tools.

Lowes had a Southwire 1500 degree laser aiming unit I just picked up for $28. Would have got a HF one, but needed it quick (AC failure). So far working flawlessly.

I was going to get one for tires and diff temps anyway, so double the use.

You can google a HF coupon as you walk in the door on your phone. I have a HF model and a " pro " brand which cost mucho denero I used in my AC business and the HF has held up and is accurate enough for rv issues .

I use mine to check wheel hubs and tire temperature. I did find one hub was 30 -40 degrees hotter than all the rest. Shot some grease in the zerk on the hub and all was good. Gives me peace of mine knowing bearings are working and no brake is hanging up. Do it on the TV and RV. Can also use it to check AC temps.

Ooooh! Didn't read the users safety warning section in the manual, huh?
