I put the battery back on the TT. We have a battery bracket on order, so hopefully I won't have to do the battery shuffle too many times.

I've never tried to tow without a battery but I believe what the folks are saying here. I always remove the battery when I reach the storage facility. Only takes a wrench and a minute.

Another thought on not having a battery installed might go real bad with your insurance company if your runaway trailer did a whole bunch of damage or worse and they find out you don't have a DOT required battery installed.

That may not go in your favor to well...

Yep. I want everyone to know that I will not and did not tow without the battery. This was going to be a one-time deal while I waited for the battery bracket lock.
