As for the interest rate, if you belong, or can join a credit union, the interest rates may be lower. A local CU is offering a rate of 4.54%. A dealer will go out of their way to get you to finance with them and will usually match what you can get on your own.

The asked $24k. I offered $17k. They countered at $21900 and will walk below that. If u search every website u will not find one at that price or within a few thousand.

Does the Coleman come with a spare tire and televisions? Most Coleman’s don’t but the jaycos do.
Go for the jayco in my opinion .

Then the dickering is done for the price.
Last question, is the Jayco or Dutchman at a Camping World location?

My Greyhawk had more particle board then what I would have hoped. Maybe the cabinet doors were solid (maybe), but the rest of the cabinet body was particle. I screwed a few items into the exterior side of two of mine - definitely cardboard type material. I could see it clear as day when I remove the screws later to get my LevelMate back before I sold the rig.

x3. The only regret I have buying a camper is where I bought it from. They are absolutely WORTHLESS from beginning to end.

Get the Jayco.
Buying from a non CM rv place will over come a lot of short comings of the Jayco.

They are both owned by Thor. I'm not sure that makes much of a difference but I think it's good to know.
When I was younger and we were still in a pop-up, I was blown away by how inexpensive Dutchman was compared to other brands. Later when we were looking at our first hybrid I started to pay more attention to fit and finish. The Jayco just seemed better than other brands. Dutchman to me was one step up from Palomino.
Both felt cheap inside.
Granted I have not looked at Dutchman for a long time, but you have to ask yourself why is a 1 year old trailer more expensive than a new one?

Jayco
My experience buying a new 2009 Jayco G2 Jay Flight in Feb 2010. It took me 2 years plus to get the problems worked out. Some major and some minor. Examples: Right rear spring hanger broke, 2 axle alignments, rear S/O actuvator replaced, elec awing motor replaced and on and on. Jayco rebuilt the entire front end structure in 2013 (out of warranty) due to conceled water damage on their nickle which was nice of them. I had to deliver the unit to their plant in Middlebury, IN. Overall that was a good experience. Would never buy a new RV again as if you are careful you can pick up a newer used one where hopefully most the bugs have been worked out. RV build quality is a "Misnomer", IMHO. No sour grapes, just the facts.

Good choice and you’ll be very happy with it and once you live in it you’ll find out that 6” is a big deal after all. That little extra you paid will be all forgotten after your first trip, enjoy that new camper.

So true on the width. Spent a lot of time in a 102 wide Ragen, my Attitude was a 100inch. My 212 is 96. All are noticeably different. Wish I would have got a wider one. Good choice.
