I am really hoping that they are professional about it all. My plan is just be as nice as possible and hope for the best.

On a side note. The Costco Auto program team was beyond helpful and I can not say enough good things about them.
They will be professional. It likely will not even be mentioned. What they want from you (other than your money) is a positive survey when Costco calls to ask about the purchase process. And yes, you WILL be contacted by Costco either in person or via email to complete a survey once the purchase is completed.

I would still encourage you to ask some questions about how repairs will be handled and their wait times for warranty service. If for nothing more than to get a feel for how things will be handled at the dealership.

Depending on the size of the dealership for the most part once your done purchasing you likely will be dealing with a different group of people. It's not as though your salesman/finance guy are sitting there monitoring phone calls and looking at who is scheduling service work. What your looking for is an overall perception of how the service department is run.

Congratulations on your new purchase. I hope all goes well and that you have a positive experience.

Thanks for the advice. I am very curious as to how the service portion will be handled. I will be sure to ask questions regarding that when we go in.
I am just hoping that this sale goes through easy from this point forward!

I think it was more a case that the dealership salespeople were not familiar with the Costco program. Costco does negotiate things not normally part of the package. I'm sure it will go well, especially now that they understand the program and the impact Costco can have. Costco will help you later also if you have issues with the dealership. Good Luck !
