is this normal fabric wear?

2nd season, 5th trip in the 5th wheel and the fabric on the couch is wearing fast....
what do you think of this? normal wear or warranty call?

I don't think that was used by the dogs. Not overly concerned with it but it's been a rainy two days and just sitting here in the campground nit-picking

I wouldn't call that normal, certainly not for a 2013 model year. I would make a claim and see what comes of it.

Our's has a microfiber type fabric and our 90lb boxer makes the couch his bed. We don't show wear like that.

that's not nit-picking - I wouldn't be happy with that kind of (normal) wear in that short of time!!!

Unfortunately MOST RV manufacturers use the cheapest fabric available for furniture. Our old expensive SOB had rapid wear-n-tear on the furniture and our fairly new Jayco seems to be following that same pattern. It's all good though cuz DW has already figured out what fabric she will be using to recover the furniture . That's just my opinion, of course.

Get it fixed while you still have warranty. They will still be able to match the colors. We had to have the couch cushions replaced on our trailer after a years use.

TT fabrics are typically thinner than a residential type and wont hold up well. You can try to make a claim (or see where it goes) since your still in warranty but likely the dealer/Jayco will say its excessive wear due to the end user unless they admit a known issue with their fabrics etc. and replace it.

I have the same fabric and mine started doing that the first trip out with it. I am waiting until the end of the summer to take it in and have warranty work done to it and will include it in my list of things to fix.

is this normal fabric wear?

It's not the dogs. They don't get on it.
I'll let you all know about warranty claim follow up

The fabric pulls will make them ask if you file a claim, be prepared to answer the question anyways...

how do you mean?
I will request for this to be repaired or fixed under warranty.
the fabric on the dinette cushions is the same type except it's all brown and I sit there a lot and no problem on it.
Either recover or get a different type of fabric on couch.

We had some of the same sort of problem with our couch fabric that occurred in just one of the sections (different fabric from yours). Dealer ordered the new fabric and replaced it for us during our second year

Does not look like normal wear to me, especially considering these trailers are only used occasionally....

Dealer working on getting warranty fix on this. Wait and see, if no result, I may have to post pics on facebook Jayco and ask for their opinion
