Why don't you buy him a silent generator to suit your needs?
I too have a 7500 watt generator, not cheap. If the campground allows for certain hours for a generator to be run, deal with it or move. I have researched how to minimize the noise, youtube, and found (4) pieces of plywood 4x4 around the generator minimizes the noise the best.
Just because you have found alternative methods or solutions on noise abatement doesn't mean everyone has to follow.

There would be TROUBLE in paradise or state park if someone started messing with my generator.
