We have reservations for 2 weeks each month for the three months of summer and 1 weekend in mid May. With a new to us camper, and raring to go. We can camp in our own woods if need be. I wish us all good luck and a speedy end to this craziness.

We had a couple of reservations that have been dumped.

We bought a new 5th wheel in February and have yet to dewinterize and take on the maiden voyage. I guess I could go get it and bring it to the house to dewinterizebut in case the first year is put to bed may as well keep it the way it is. Really irritating.

Have plans to go to Bozeman September 5th for the Gold Rush football game, GOOOOOO BOBCATS, but that doesn't look positive so far.

Yes, we are itching to get out there!!!

Already starting to edit the plans to Alaska from Florida due to Corona virus. COE canceled my reservation for May in GA and just received another cancellation for June at Cottonwood CG. Hopefully, I can salvage most of the trip as long as I remain flexible. It’s hard to understand the reasoning behind campground closures since most of us are self contained.

The state parks around us (Missouri & Illinois) are closed as are federal properties (Corps of Engineers, etc) - after a couple of our reservations were cancelled we moved to private campgrounds. They only allow self-contained units as per CDC they are closing bathrooms and playgrounds.

We were on a 4 month road trip to visit 40 National Parks/Historic sites. Was in Joshua Tree National Park heading to Death Valley when our reservations started to be cancelled. So now instead of being in Albuquerque 5iday we are in Middle Georgia. We are glad we are safe and our prayer is the situation get settled. Hopefully long before October when we have our next trip planned

As far as I know KOAs are open but restricting public areas like pool, playground and maybe restrooms. Probably not too busy which is good for distancing.

Plenty of wide open public lands around me that will never close. Just need to wait for warmer weather.

We were going to our favorite KOA in Michigan but they are open only for full time campers or snow birds going home so opening weekend at our KOA isn’t happening. I work at a hospital and was looking forward to some peace time. We are all in this together and hope it changes for the good soon!

I've quit my plans for this year. NJ governor will keep us under lock with no key.
Hope TT survives a whole year.

Hey folks: Hello from SC. Well we are like most, stuck at home. We try to take a short camping trip (3-4 nights) every other month. Only got one trip in my his year. So the wife is going stir crazy at home. She is wheel chair bound so camping is her big relief from the daily grind of watching tv all day. In the mean time I’ve been doing little projects on the camper and tow vehicle.
Got a question, has anyone use the Harvest Host system? If so are they wheelchair friendly?
Thanks and keep safe.

Friends of ours have already spent 2 weeks camping, came back and are at the end of another week camping.
Lord willing, we will be camping in about 3 weeks, and have plans for another camp trip about a month later.

Yup, same here.
Safety of others comes first.
Great time to organize the trailer, get any projects done (soft start ).
We’ll most likely open up the slides, sanitize the tanks and lines, pull out a couple of camping chairs , call the grandkids over , make a little fire and Roast some marshmallows w them. (Our camper is next to our garage)

I picked mine up late last fall then it rained steady until it turned cold. Took a trip with it the other day, across the yard. From the back of the barn to the side of the chicken house. Nice view on a hilltop...https://scontent.fcps1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...a1&oe=5EB74DA0https://scontent.fcps1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...2b&oe=5EB6C965 https://scontent.fcps1-1.fna.fbcdn.n...a2&oe=5EB7017B

We’ve cancelled two trips due to parks closing (March and April). Our entire state is under an official “stay at home” order until who knows when. We still have a week long reservation at Davis Mountains SP in the Texas Big Bend for late May. We sure hope we can keep that one. Until then, staying close to home and helping others where/when we can.

Our town in se Alaska has just one road out, that goes straight to Canada about 40 miles away. Since that border is closed for the foreseeable future we won't be able to go on any camping trips, but may just head out around the immediate area. Either that or we will set up in the driveway, get some rocks for a fire ring and hang out! A bottle of wine will dull our feelings of disappointment
