It's in the air

Spring must be in the air. Today I put new bubble levels on my trailer and installed my P3 brake controller and it was real easy to install for those wondering how hard it is. and also picked up a equalizer hitch and got that set up. Soon very soon I can feel it time to go camping.

Our high in Dallas, Texas is going to be 80 and sunny today. I just opened up all of the windows and doors to air the camper out. Tomorrow however is dropping into the 30's with rain and sleet.

And I just finally found the horseshoe set.. Was hiding from me... We are going out in 2 weeks. Sure hope the weather improves...

Somebody remind be about 6pm tonight to go close everything up before the bad weather gets here...

Looks like to snow for Sunday and Monday. Maybe I should swap out the tires on the 5er for skis!

Our 5 year old turns 6 on the 13th. That is typically our first trip out for the year. He got up yesterday morning and packed his stuff before school so he is ready for our first trip out. He is ready to go. He says it is almost his birthday and that means spring and camping season. So for him that is a sign that spring has sprung. Though I don't think the weather man agrees.

Congratulations! I think spring has sprung, in our case I think it is broken. Tomorrow, -45+ wind chill. I am in the process of installing two 110 ton roof top heat/AC units on top of one of our plants this week. I have a feeling the electricians do not want to work tomorrow as they will freeze their fingers terminating all the wires. Five week project to be done in 5 days, in extreme cold.

Three things make me think, and hope, spring is finally on the way:
1 - a small patch of grass is emerging from the white stuff
2 - the storm that was supposed to hit us with another 8" of snow has decided to stay off-shore and just brush us
3 - got word from the dealer that our TT should be here and ready for delivery in a couple of weeks

I saw 6 robins in a crabapple tree on Friday. Will somebody tell the weatherman/woman that the birds are ready for spring, too?

Received 2" inches of new snow last night, currently 8* F out, winter front is still installed on the truck, and the camper is still tucked away in storage. It feels like this winter will never end! We are going to the RV show today, I know that will really give me the itch to go camping.

I just had to use my snow blower again as we got about 4" last night. I'm tired of winter.

Last night I booked 4 more trips to add the 2 others I have already booked and I just took my new hybrid out on her maiden voyage two weeks ago!
Today I waxed two sides and the wheels/tires then ran out of energy, LOL.
Next trip is to a local regional campground on 3/21.
