Does my Jayco Eagle have a heat pump or a separate heater?

Do you have vents in the floor? If you have floor vents or some other vents down low, you have a furnace. Not sure about the heat pump. Never had one so I honestly don’t know how to identify those without playing with the thermostat. Also, look outside the trailer. Should have a black vented cover for the hot water heater and another for a furnace if there is one.

Thermostat will say Gas-Elec heat if it has a heat pump or heat strip.

You could have both if you have the Overlander 4 package, heat pump is part of it.
