Jayco laminate brand?
Does anyone know what brand of laminate Jayco is using on their countertops?
I have asked them for the color code which they have given, but they have not told me the name of the manufacturer. ( example Formica, Wilsonart)
I am hoping to order some laminate direct from the manufacturer in order to have a counter extention made. Jayco wouldlike me to order a sheet of laminate through my dealer, who I know will triple the price...
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Find a local laminate/formica countertop guy/gal and they can get an exact match to your sample.
I found this out a few years back as we were getting our home kitchen new counter tops and had ordered thru Lowes. After 8 weeks and still no tops we started looking and found a lady in Longview that did countertops.she matched our selection perfectly and did the job 2 days after looking and giving us a price. She removes laminate from the plywood top and puts down new.

Thank You
After spending several hours searching the net.. I found out that Jayco is using Wilsonart Laminate.
The 2011 Color for the Jay flight trailer and many others is bronzed Fusion #1796
Many 2012 trailers will have the color Ebony Fusion #1799.
Check the Wilsonart site.. Seems Jayco likes the word "fusion" in their choices.. I think most of our counter colors can be found there.
I just saved myself hundreds of dollars as I can now order this laminate wholesale....
Just goes to show that persistence pays off !

That is an excellent find, Ladywendolyn. I've been toying with the idea of making a fold-down counter extension but like you, the last place I wanted to buy the laminate from was the dealer.

Yes, I looked up that 1796 color sample on the Wilsonart site and it looks like a dead ringer for my counters.

Our local Home Depot & Lowes have the 2" x 3" samples available for free. We used them while redoing our kitchen, and then decided not to use laminate. They had Formica & Wilsonart.
Thanks for the info, I will have to check out if they have our color. We have a 2010 - 29.5 RKS and want to modify the counter. The "L" wraps around too far and makes it hard to get to the refrigerator when the slide is closed. You have to bend your knees under the counter while the calfs of your legs are against the dinette table in the down position. It is all but impossible to do it with the dinette table in the raised position. There is plenty of counter space in this unit, the approx. 6" removed from the "L" would not even be missed. I do wish the design engineers would use these units.

Yes.. once you know the colour code, many places carry the product.
I checked a local wholesale place here.. (flow form counters), and they carry it.
We have had them make up many custom counters over the years, and they are very reasonable. They often have lots of pieces of "seconds" countertop in the back that if it is the right colour, you can get it made up for $10 a running foot.. so I am going to start there.

What a great find Ladywendolyn! I was just thining how I wished I had the counter top that the 2012 23B had and my hubby and I were talking about hanging the tv so we would have the extra space, now I can truly make it an extra counter space and match my counter in the 2011.
Thank you!
