Smile jayco steps up!

purchased our white hawk 24rbs in march 2014 ( traded 2010 jay flight 22fb ). this summer noticed discolouration of front cap and initially thought a good waxing would remedy it. fading became worse, so after reading several posts on this problem, contacted jayco by email explaining problem and that we realized our warranty had expired. they requested pictures, and after sending them, jayco said they would authorize replacement of front wall. very pleased with jayco's response. have scheduled an appointment with purchasing dealer for the end of october. will follow with post after work is done.

cheers,

grampacc

X2 on the positive! Lately, I'm guilty of some of the negative... Sorry all!

It is always nice to hear of positive things from manufacturers. During the warranty period with my Designer I had nothing but good results from Jayco. With the manufacturer of the rubber roof is another story and why I no longer have a rubber roof.

Remember this: If we are looking for an RV that is perfect in every way and absolutely nothing will need warranty service we will be looking for a long time since this rig doesn't exist and if it did it would be so expensive no one could afford one. How the manufacturers handle warranty issues is the answer and Jayco treated me well.

Just dropped off my Whitehawk 28DSBH to the dealer today to have the front cap repainted. Even though my 2 year warranty expired in May Jayco came good with the repaint. I will leave it at the dealer for the winter and they will send it to a paint shop for the work. I am having the front painted white to match the sides so if it ever fades again it should not be as noticeable.

Do you have any contact information for jayco? Mine is fading too and I did the same thing by waxing it and it looks worse.
