JAYCO UNI-DOCK Utility System - water connections

Anyone replaced the water connections on your JAYCO uni-dock utility system to add stronger connection points? This plastic configuration for both city water input and back tank flush is really flimsy... Looking for better/stronger options and realize this would invalidate the warranty, etc...I already use an angled brass hose adapter to reduce some of the stress, and tie wrap the hose to the chase to relieve downward weight, but still have to be careful when hooking up or adjusting the hose when the water is on - connection leaks a little from the plastic intake. Nothing serious, just curious if anyone has done anything like this.

Thanks,
TP

I just wrap the angle adapter with pipe tape, and never take it out.

I removed the access cover once and almost lost my groceries

LOL - I was planning to do the same next time out just to see what support was behind there....but based on your reply, may just hold off on that....

I'll stick with the pipe tape I have on the angle adapter like NBD said,

Thanks!
