Jayco website updated

The Jayco site now has 2017 model year info. Seems like prices may have increased significantly? The Eagle TT`s for example are now over 50K MSRP but maybe they were last year too.

A 2017 1007UD popup has an MSRP $3,000 more than a 2014 1007UD, seems like a huge increase in price to me.

Jayco is reading here often that we are buying cheap that we dont pay enough hence the poor quality. Now that we are paying more let see if the quality will go up

It looks like the Jay Flight series prices stayed pretty much the same.

I did notice that they dropped the shortest 5th wheel in the HT line.
I also noticed that they cut the gray water capacity by half on the 26.5s. Makes me glad I bought in 2016. Two greywater tanks is one thing that was a selling point.

Makes no sense to cut the gray water capacity in half. Other than to cut the cost of manufacturing, only have to run a little longer sewer line rather than a whole extra tank. And I see they did drop the 23.5, probably wasn't a big seller. I hope that's the reason

I am bummed about the Gray Water Tanks on the Eagle HT's. We were seriously considering one but now all the gray tanks are 32.5 gals and the cargo capacities on the models I would be interested seem low too. And then if we jump to an Eagle it just gets bigger than we want.

The cargo capacity is still over 2,200 pounds. That's a lot of cargo, especially if you don't travel with a full water tank. I think I'll call Jayco to see about the lack of two waste tanks in the HT line. Maybe it's a typo or a mis-print.

Sorry-I wasn't clear in my comment-I thought I specified that I was referring to bunkhouse models the 29.5FBDS and 29.5 BHDS are both below 2000 lbs-the BHDS is 1575-down from 1650lbs in the 2016 model. I know the smaller bunkhouse has a but bigger cargo capacity. BUT....I think the deal breaker is the small gray tank which decreased in both these models.

You were right about the misprint!

So last night via Facebook I messaged Jayco about the Gray Tanks on the 29.5 models. I was looking at the 2016 Eagle HT fifth wheel book and then comparing it to the 2017 models on the website. All the models I was looking at said 32.5 Gray tanks, the quotes I have gotten have only said 32.5 capacity on the gray tanks so I messaged them asking about the capacity and if they really cut them in half.

This morning I woke up to this response:
"Many of the floorplans have secondary gray tanks with the same holding capactiy. The website should be updated to reflect those specifications, make sure to check periodically for any updates! Hope this helps!"

And wouldn't you know...I checked and now it DOES list the secondary gray tank! Which is awesome because now these models are back on the table as an option for us. The 26.5 is still only the 32.5 gal though. Just thought it was interesting how overnight the changes were made. I wonder if anything else will get changed along the way...
