Anything is possible, hinging on your abilities, and willingness to do what would probably be a custom mod for your unit. When I want to do something along those lines, I think about it, sleep on it, make notes, revise my plan of action...sometimes two or three times, then dive into it, expecting some more time to complete than I originally planned on. In the end, it all comes together.

When we were at the RV show buying our 2020 Jay Flight 24RBS, I asked the Jayco Factory Representative if they would build one with a door instead of a curtain. I was told no, that wasn’t possible. My unit has a half wall and a opening to walk through to the bedroom. If you do decide to put in a door please post pictures so I can steal ideas! Jay

Jay,

We both have the same 24RBS floorplan, and sitting here looking at mine one could just extended the section of half-wall to the ceiling and install a 30" pocket door (barn style). The bedroom side of the wall is clear for the door and would standout from the wall approx. 2". Just thinking out loud here

The OP may consider the same 'pocket door' approach if the floorplan allows.

I do prefer the present set-up with my 24RBS, I like the open feel and that small open section of half-wall allows the bedroom window to bring light into the living/kitchen space.

Bob

Yes, but there is no off the shelf solution to it. As mentioned in a previous post, you'll need to be handy. Not rocket science handy, but simple carpentry handy.

If I was going to do it, I'd either totally replace or extend the half wall all the way across the trailer, with an opening where I wanted the door.

Then, I'd get the largest possible door (24 to 28 inches?) and hang it. Just a regular swing door. A house door jamb won't work, as it's for 2x4 construction. You'll need to create your own jamb. You can just copy the bathroom door jamb.

Of course, you have to be comfortable with trimming it out, and staining and finishing the door the way you want it.

I've done extensive changes in my 26BH. From a front queen bed like your's to a large front living room arrangement with the dividing wall removed.

All that said, putting a door there seems like a bad idea, unless you're trying to accomplish something I haven't thought of. If mom and dad are...going at it...that door isn't going to keep the noise down. It's a trailer. And, it's going to make the trailer seem more cramped. More than you might think. For the hassle involved, it doesn't seem worth it.

Accordion doors are an easy install.
When I selected my trailer, a door was one of my requirements. The accordion was there, works well (there are two of the into the bed area).
