JT Strongarms/Cargo receiver

I ordered the JT Strongarms and was preparing for the install. In the rear of my 2018 34RSBS I have the optional 1.5 receiver. I am wondering if anyone has drilled holes in that frame to mount the JT Strongarm brackets. Looking for any helpful advice. I now know that I have to buy a piece of angle iron for the front arms, as there is nothing there. I am going to make sure it is painted. Thanks for the help.

I did not need angle iron across the front of my Jayco.

I wanted more support in the rear of the trailer than the front, so I mounted four in the back and two in the front. I will order two more for the front one day, just for fun.

You will see just how much it settles down your trailer when you get them installed.

I am so pleased with mine... no more wiggly trailer at all.

I have some similar devices made by BAL that I put on our HT 29.5 FBDS. I put two on each landing gear leg and one on each side of the rear electric stab jacks.

The biggest concern was potential interference with the spare tire at the front under side. But I was able to drop it a bit, push it back and crank it back up for enough clearance.

They seem to reduce the sway, but the trailer still wants to shake a tiny bit when someone walks about the trailer.

Mine is solid and steady. I put two in the front and four in the back. I'm sure the trailer jack helps in the front also.
