Just back from a week in Woodland Park, CO

For those interested:
First trip in the new-to-us Jayflight 24FBS. Stayed at Diamond RV park while we attended a conference there in WP. All went pretty well. Park was great [had a little trouble backing in because of narrow road and trees. Had to use ALL of my Linx levelers to level the trailer. But overall, it's a nice place.]

Issues that arose:
1. Water heater was on electric. Did fine in my driveway. Didn't work at camp. Switched to LP - worked sort of OK [45F - not cool enough for my taste]. Rebooted the fridge: Turned off fridge, turned off breaker. waited 30 seconds, turned fridge on "Auto" - never had any more problems [32-34F]. Must investigate running on propane issue.

2. Gray tank got full. Water dripping from underneath trailer. emptied tank -- dripping stopped. Not sure what's where the dripping came from.

3. Got home, electric tongue jack would not go more than an inch either way, and was VERY hot. Did the manual procedure ok and disconnected. After the unit cooled off (~4 hours later) tongue jack worked just fine. I figure the switch was stuck in the "retract" position the whole way home.

Several more things to fix and tweak on the trailer, then thinking about upgrading to a larger unit--this one turned out to be too small for us.
Thanks for letting me vent!

Cover the PowerJack they are not waterproof and the motor will seize up or switches corrode. Put a bucket over it is a simple prevention.

Mueller State Park is near Woodland Park, CO and is a really fine place to camp if all you need is electric. We were there this summer and had a great time with the grand-kids.

Goin' to MSP next week...one of our favorites as well. We go there at least twice a year.
Looks like we have similar rigs...maybe we'll see you there sometime.

Glad you enjoyed your trip and didn't have to deal with any trip canceling issues.
