Over the past years CPS made up rules that the Parents can't do this or that and the School teaches it. The kids know how far they can push the parents and what they can get away with. The parents hands are tied.

Wow !

Never expected this much response, and the response's of Who to blame,
no mater how we are raised, ( you and you alone) are responsible for your actions, weather positive, or negative I agree that our upbringing has a lot to do with respect and the way we treat others, but we still make the choice to conduct our selves in a proper manner to act with respect and dignity for ourselves and our neighbor's ,weather its on the road or next door to your own home .. ok back to camping ! always room for discussion and opinions on this subject , Thanks For reading just my 2 cents

Intentionally running poor engine mapping in order to overfuel gives all diesel owners a bad name.
A puff off the light before the turbo lights (builds manifold pressure) is normal, and will actually light the turbo faster than intentionally light fuelling.
Even a light haze under full throttle is fine, although it will run your exhaust gas temps a bit high.

Theres no reason whatsoever to be blacking out roads outside of the drag strip (fuel requirements during racing are far different, generally needing a completely unstreetable turbo (way too big).

BTW, I'm a member of the "entitled" generation you speak of, and I can assure you that it's not "generational". Every generation has said the next one will be the ruin of the world, and we're still here. I think it's more societal than anything else. I bet I've seen at least as many or more a-holes collecting social security retirement as I have collecting social security disability or medicaid (or any other "entitlement").

TimHolt is absolutely right when he said "age does not have a monopoly" on a person's level of respect. There are disrespectful people of every age class. One thing I will not do is allow their behavior to define me or my behavior. And I will raise my son that way as well.
Here is a NYTs article about Rolling Coal..http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/05/bu...voke.html?_r=0
