I have the keyless entry on my 2012 31.5FBHS. I don't know the brand, but it does not look like the one pictured above. It has a separate key pad on the door. To my knowledge it does not have a battery and operates with power from the camper battery. Thus far, I have not had any problems with it, however, when activated, the mechanism moves with such force as to jar the door which worries me.

I know that big trucks like Freightliners only have about 11 different keys. Truck drivers that lock themselves out usually will find another driver with a key that will unlock their truck.

We had some fun this weekend, we stopped by an RV dealership and I tried my Jayco key in several different trailers and I'm proud to say it didn't open a single one.

I feel better now.
