Keys

Hello,
Me and the wife just purchased a 2022 Jay Feather 25 RB and we have no complaints so far. (Only had it a week)
My question is they gave us 2 keys: one unlocks and locks the door and storage spaces. I for the life of me can't seem to find what the other key goes to. The one that opens everything is cut both ways so it doesn't matter how you put it in but the other one is single cut and the tumblers are different.
Any idea what the other key is for? As always thanks for any input and help you can give us.

Can you take a picture of the key in question? Does the key have any numbers on it?

We have a second one that “unlocks” the plastic door on the outside shower. (I’ve found almost anything will open that, though.) The key has a black handle.

Lightbulb

The outdoor shower never had one before. Thank you to everyone for helping solve the mystery.

Could it be the entry door? Most all the RV's I have owned uses two separate keys for the entry door which has two different locks. ~CA

Just an odd key for the outside shower door for some reason. I've seen it on a friends new-to-them 24RBS.

I didnt like that either, assuming they used Bauer locks on your trailer, I ordered one of these, https://bauerproducts.com/product/sci-barb-cam-lock/

Just take the number off the key that opens your doors and put that number in the KeyID and the new lock will have/use the same key as everything else.

I also park/store our trailer offsite at a storage location, due to this I wanted a little extra security and swapped out the non-locking cam locks on the storage doors with new keyed cams, all using the same key number. Was a quick and easy swap.

If you want to go one step further you can also swap out the door lock with their bluetooth/number pad lock. First its made from metal, not the plastic like the oem lock. But it can also use the same key (if you tell them the number).

Now a single key opens EVERYTHING on my trailer, love the simplicity!

We have, we replaced the stock one with this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The 9" Full XL is the perfect fit.

So its better than the stock one, this one was still a bit hard but much much better than the rock that the stock one was. As we use it more it is getting softer. I also brought it inside the house and let the grand kids jump on it and even I walked and jumped on it a bit. Crazy enough that actually helped. I will say it is very light for a memory foam mattress, which is also nice when making it with the flipped orientation that we have in this trailer.

Thanks for the feedback. Amazon has a 10" one as their 'choice' for 278 I may try.

You may have a lockbox under your mattress. Try that.

My rig did not come with locks on the propane cabinet. I have heard differing reasons for that but I am sure they don't lock them so the propane tanks can be accessed to turn them off in case of fire.
