Lake George in Fall

Planning a trip to Lake George in the fall (September) timeframe. Can anyone provide any recommendations on where to stay on their site? The site is rather large and since we have never been there, it would be nice to have some advice from others that have stayed there previously. Thanks in advance. We have no pets and only adults will be going this time around.

Lake george RV park is a 5 star resort. Shuttle to the village. Big sites, indoor pool.
