Last camping trip for the year

We just got back from a week of camping in Oklahoma. Made no reservations and was able to stop and camp at 4 different state parks with no problems. First stop was at Fort Cobb state park where we spend 3 nights, then headed North to Canton Lake and spent a couple nights there. Then we headed west to Black Mesa state park, and was there for 3 nights. Two of those nights the temps dropped to 30 degrees and water froze. The wind blew all the time and even though the temps got in the 50's, it seemed to be cold. We headed back east and stopped for the night at Roman Nose state park, before we went home. Cleaned up the trailer and winterized it, then took it back to the shop for new skin and skylight. We decided that we are fair weather campers and do not like the cold weather camping. Black Mesa and Roman Nose, we had no TV service or internet. Other than that, we had no problems.

Just booked Santa Cruz (New Brighton Beach State Park) for early January - dry camping. Last year it rained one day, then was glorious but cold the next day. THIS year we have a generator - because last year with the furnace running all night, the alarm went off at 5:30am Sunday (had run our battery down).
