Learned something new yesterday I think.
So I opened up my 2020 Class C 26XD yesterday from its long winters nap. The small bed slide opened up ok. But the big power gear slide that has the dining area and couch was very slow extending. It was 50 or so degrees or so. Both batteries fully charged and shore power plugged in and on. Anyway I finished up my work and was retracting the big slide, again the slide was operating very slowly. I noticed, as I have numerous times in the past, a loud sound of air trying to escape from inside the RV. At the same time DW opened the entry door and the slide stopped struggling and moved smoothly and quickly till it was closed. I opened the slide again, it as very slow opening until I had my wife open the door then the strain stoped and it moved freely. I have had this RV since 2020 and have never figured out why this slide sometimes operates smoothly and other times struggles. I noticed the rushing air sound but never connected the two, if there is a connection. Still not sure about this discovery.
