Led awning lights not working

Just purchased a 2015 Pinnacle 38flsa. Got it home tonight to try all exterior lights. The Jayco RF remote will not turn on the led lights under the awning.
Has anyone experienced this issue or know a solution?

Thanks in advance!

Is the power switch turned on? Did you pull that little plastic "battery saver" off the battery? Just 2 guesses off the top of my head...

Did they work when you tested it at PDI before taking it home?

Sometimes those remotes must be pointed directly at the control box. (may be inside one of the covers at the tube side of the awning-or-up against the outside wall if the lights are mounted against the wall) Sometimes you cant see the box at all as it may be inside, and the remote sensor is outside (and inside) the rail itself.

All Im saying is make sure the "switch" is on ! Make sure the battery saver is removed from the remote (as mentioned above). Then try pointing the remote at all 4 points of the awning.

Ours won't even come on with the switch. I'm wondering if it's a loose connection or something. They turned on when he demo'd it to us but once we got it home nothing. There are no instructions for the remote either

Yes, we checked all that they are all good.
What happens is we turn the switch on, the lights flicker and then don't come back on. We know the remote battery is working as we've checked it.

My lights come on ok but will dim after a few minutes? Is there some kind of module we should look at? BTW one gripe I have is that you cannot adjust the awning lights and the only way to turn on & off is with the remote. 2018 Eagle Ht 26.5 rls. Thanks

Our’s lights would come on and go right back off. The dealership had to replace them. But the technician left the panel door off after repairs. If we put the panel door back on the lights don’t work again.

Our Seneca is a 2015...

Our Awning lights progressively got dim, then dimmer, then don't work at all. We don't have a dimmer for our lights either - only and on/off switch. have not replaced the lights since they are NOT covered on any warranty.

We elected to install real LED lights on the outside wall of our Seneca that are bright and work longer.

287bhsw

I have a 2019 287bhsw that the awning LED rope light doesn’t work. The amber step light works. It didn’t come with a remote and I’m not sure if it was supposed to. There is a cut wire on the light switch but I’m not sure what it is. If anyone has any ideas on what’s wrong, that would help. Thank you.

It might help to know, wired to the porch lights how? To the switched power I assume. With the switch on, do you show 12v at the awning light wire connection to the porch light?

Our 2018 Eagle 321RSTS had the same problem-awning lights came on for about 10 min. then would go dim. After lots of voltage checks at different points found what appeared to be a solid state breaker behind a panel on the right side of the front closet floor right where the awning wires entered the camper. Turn on the lights, breaker started getting warm, then lights went dim. Rated to open at 2.2amps but lights only drew 1.6. Replaced it with a fuse holder and 3 amp fuse. All good now.
Good luck
Bill

We recently purchased the same camper, and the LED awning lights do not work. I have power at the wall switch but no power to the lights. Were you able to fix your problem?

See Bstannard's post above, that is exactly what was wrong with mine. It does not look like a fuse more like a fusible link. $2.50 item. After bringing it back to the dealer 4 times I was the one who found it after researching sites like this one.
