I have a 154BH and I'm afraid I did something pretty dumb with the LED lights that are on the awning. I was camping and a windstorm came through overnight. As we were driving home and stopped at a rest area we noted that the LED lights had come undone were flapping in the breeze. I didn't really know what I was doing so I snipped the electrical connection and stuffed the light bar into the unit and drove home. At home I figured out that the light strip slides right into the bracket that is appropriated for that purpose. However, (stupid) it appears that I can't splice or reconnect the lights. Do I need to get a new strip and somehow figure out how to connect the strip back? Thanks for any advice.
You may wish to post a picture. There are several threads here about splicing into those wires to install a dimmer so it seems like you should be able to.

My led awning lights failed a couple of years ago. The awning manufacturer wanted about $80.00 if I remember correctly, I found them on Amazon for less than $20.00. They are adhesive backed with two wire connection under the plastic awning head, easy to replace.
