Load Up!!!

Does your dog balk at jumping into your tow vehicle? If so, and assuming the jump is within your pup’s capability, I may have your solution. Our nine year old 80lb lab, Cooper, had never jumped into the back seat of our 2500 Ram. We tried ramps, we tried enticements, but nothing worked, which meant he missed out on a lot of daily outings. Getting him in the truck required two people as he struggled until his feet hit the seat. It wasn’t easy and certainly not a long term solution. Then my wife found this strap like device that wraps under the belly of a dog. With this device, and after he apparently realized refusal was no longer an option, Cooper jumped right in, albeit with our assistance. It’s been 3 months since we started using this assist device, and now Cooper loads completely on his own without any assistance. I can now take my pal anyplace without wondering how I’ll get him in the truck. It’s great, I only wish we would have figured this out years ago. Anyhow, I hope this helps someone.

It’s called a dog lift support harness and made by Busy Dog.

Btw, when we used this device, my wife placed it just in front of his rear legs and lift him toward the truck while I led him from the front with a lead.
