Lost Keys Found
We were camped last week in a Georgia state park for most of the week. Sometime during the week, I lost a set of keys that I use when camping. It had my truck key and FOB, camper key and several keys to locks that I use when camping. I looked for it everywhere I had been which was all over.
No luck. I left my name and number with the park ranger and also the host.
Today I got a call from the cg, someone found them and turned them in to the office.
Mailing them to me today.
Whew!

Back in our pop-up days, I did something similar.
Spent a long weekend searching everywhere for my keys...
Finally gave up and struck camp... lowered the roof of the PUP, and there were my keys, just where I had put them when we arrived. On the roof..

That's great news! Always so nice to hear stories about good things happening! A great relief (and $ savings), I'm sure!

Yep, I was online 2 days ago pricing new keys from a key supplier online. They wanted 3.25 ea for the key and 9.25 to ship them. I'm glad I passed on that.
In addition, this afternoon, I got a call from the park ranger telling me they went out in the mail today.

I told her that when we come back next year, I would like to thank her in person. Maybe a nice gift or something.

Good news here.
I always leave a set in the camper, learned a tough lesson one trip when I left them at home.

I have plenty of keys in and out. This was the key ring that have on a belt loop.

Keys are too expensive and complicated now. That said, I have small brass plates on our key rings with cell phone number IF we lose a set and it is subsequently found. My cell number is also engraved on my beloved pocket tool , which I lost once 15 years ago but received a call the same day from the gal who found it.

I’m looking at those gps widgets that you can put on a key ring and locate it if lost
