Low hanging tree branches

Anyone want to share best practices on how to avoid hitting low tree branches on secondary roads leading to your campground. I’m talking roadways with traffic not back roads.

If the state or county are maintaining them properly there shouldn't be any. All governmental agencies are required to keep everything clear up to 14 ft. Utility lines are the same.

EDIT: In the 40+ years we traveled, all the lower 48 and 8 of the 10 Canadian Provinces, we never encountered that issue on any road.

My only issue was a narrow road, a tree growing at an angle into the roadway, and a one ton towing a 5er that needed all the room. Insurance paid for a new awning. Didn't touch the trailer.

If there is a particular concern calling the campground and asking will ease your mind. I can think of a couple campgrounds that recommend a less direct route because of bridge loads. They may have similar for low hanging trees.

Thanks for the attachment, unfortunately it is not a perfect world. I appreciate your feedback.
