Mad........

We bought a new 2016 Jayco Jay flight 23MBH in January. It's been great and have been out a half dozen times. In mid April my wife discovered water leaking from under the wall on the backside of the shower. We inspected the faucet connections and all pipes, found nothing obvious. I had a feeling that there was a leak in the tub so I took it back to the dealer. Two weeks later the dealer found that a crack had developed in the top of the frame of the tub. The plastic was thinner in the area of the crack, manufacture defect. It was reported to Jayco (Indiana) and they agreed to cover it under warranty 100%. The new tub gets shipped out two weeks later. Today it arrives. The parts guy discovers 2 cracks in the plastic tub, looks like from forklift tines. They called me right away and said that they are reporting it and requesting the tub again. Great timing, Friday prior to a 3 day holiday weekend. Good thing I already accepted that I'm not camping this weekend anyway. Jayco took today off and now will not get the information until Tuesday next week. The dealership is taking pics of the damage and forwarding them to me. The dealership is being great, can't wait to see what Jayco does about this.

Could be the shippers fault.

Jayco will back it. Glad you also have a dealer that's also backing you! The timing sucks though. Sorry to hear of it, I feel for you.

If you wanted to use your Rv you could do a quick repair on the cracks till the new tub arrives. I agree most likely a shipper issue. Most likely it was transferred several times during it's journey and a forklift driver screwed up. Happens in LTL often, sadly. Good Luck

That's definitely the carriers fault. Nonetheless, it sucks. Sorry brother. Hopefully you'll be back up soon! I'd go camping anyway and use the CG's showers.

Put some police "Do Not Cross" tape across it and go have a good time. Baby wipes work well in a pinch. lol

Campground showers work as well. We find ourselves using them at times when we don't have full hookups. Helps save on toting water...and with girls, it's a LOT of water saved! Sure, you don't get to use "all" of your camper, but you do get to go camping!

Also you have an outside shower, just don't get arrested.
