We put a topper on ours that we got from Costco. It is a blue memory foam/gel topper and is very comfortable to sleep on, I would highly recomend it. we looked at a number of different toppers. The Costco one was much heavier than the rest, we figured more memory foam and less regular foam in it.

Thanks, all. As HTTL observed, mattress comfort is personal. We've avoided memory foam for two reasons. First, DW is a hundred pounder and I've read that's a problem. And secondly, we live and often camp in cold country, and foam's reputation in that area wouldn't suit her at all. We'll just sleep on it a while and see for ourselves.

We haven't done anything on ours yet, but we plan to. When I sit on the factory mattress I go right to the plywood. We are planning on a memory foam topper (probably from wal-mart).

I had had good luck with the ones I have purchased on Amazon - they actually have a pretty good selection. Just watch that they are either sold or fulfilled from Amazon and you will have free shipping as well.

We live in our Eagle 8 to 9 months a year. So far the memory foam topper is working for us.

We replaced it durning delivery with the top of the line Serta, it fit right in. The main reason we did it if we are spending 30k on a condo on wheels why not spend an extra $1100 on the best mattress. I layed on the one that jayco calls top of the line its like a youth quality mattress with no support. I weigh 190lbs I like support under me.

I think it was around $60 on special. We used it in our Montana for 4 years and now in our Jayco.

We got the 2" memory foam topper from Wal Mart for $67.00. Made all the difference for us.
