What brand of fan did the factory put in the bathroom?

A very cheap and load unit.

We ended up going with the 7500, so I can't comment on the rain sensor, but otherwise the fan is awesome. We needed it for the bathroom in our Eagle because my wife and I are both too short to comfortably turn the knob to open the cover (there was a switch to turn the fan on and off). We put one in the living room as well and they provide great airflow and are super quiet. We use the AC a lot less since installing.

Do a search. There is a recently active thread on this unit and a number of us who have replaced the old with this one.

Gold bar at the top of this page and put in Maxxair 4500.

I have had Fantastic and Maxxair an the rain sensor works fine with both brands.
