MaxxAir automatic fan not working

I had my RV cleaned and now the MaxxAir with rain sensor fan is not working...it starts to turn on and open but then reverses and closes up as if it has sensed rain.

I am assuming that somehow the rain sensor got water in it and possibly shorted out or something like that when they washed the roof.

Anyone else had this issue before? I have opened it up manually to let it dry out. I even pulled the fuse to "try and reset it". But it still is not working properly.

Thanks for any suggestions/input.

The sensor is just a flat piece of bi-metallic material laying on top of the frame. Unplug it and see if the problem stops.
