I have used S&T for years for planing routes and figuring out fuel costs... wish there was a way I could transfer it to my gps so it would take me the way I want to go..

I think S&T is a fairly good mapping program. Sometimes the routes it suggests are far from the best way to go. But to get an idea of routing between points, or to find an address, it works well. But don't count on it to find you the best route all the time.

I bought the S&T with the GPS antenna and use it with a net-book as my GPS system. As was mentioned it lets you decide which way you want to go. It also lets me check out various routes before deciding on where we are stopping.

LOVE IT!

I buy the disc and load it at home. Have used it for years as a map reference and general route planning.

I still use my Garmin GPS when on the road.
